The Names Project is neither an art nor a decoration. With its imposing size of 3,60m on 3,60m, its purpose of each Names Patchwork quilt is to draw public attention to the AIDS epidemic and breast cancer. For the first time in France, many of these quilts from all over the world will be exhibited in the main Hall of City Hall tapestries to keep alive the memory of those who died after fighting against these diseases.

From Wednesday 1 August to Friday 3 August 2018, PARIS 2018 GAY GAMES 10 and the French Union of Secular Works of Physical Education (UFOLEP) propose a cycle of international academic conferences (in French and English) about sport and diversity. The three days punctuated by workshops will be held at the Auditorium of City Hall of Paris (plus two rooms for workshops). They will bring researchers (sociologists, doctors, specialists), activists and practitioners as well as representatives of public institutions and the Olympic or national sports movement.
