Paris 2018 also wants to celebrate diversity through classical music. Thus, a gala concert will be organized at the Casino de Paris, a true Parisian institution (a theater, not a gambling venue) where Mistinguett, Maurice Chevalier, Joséphine Baker, Line Renaud, Zizi Jeanmaire and Lizette Malidor revues were created.
It will be possible to discover the same evening: choirs, orchestras of harmony, chamber or salon, from all continents. All presented by four colorful masters of ceremony!
These gala concert will allow the various musical groups to offer the public a quality service.
Each orchestra will have to offer a repertoire containing a piece of a French composer and one or more pieces representative of its musical and cultural identity.
In addition, the orchestras will again be in the spotlight throughout the 10th Gay Games during concerts in kiosks parks and gardens of Paris and on the scene of the Village, in a lighter form called salon orchestra.
