The open water competition in this 10^th edition of the Gay Games is organized in Vaires sur Marne leisure center by Paris Aquatique with the support of the French Swimming Federation (FFN), the Ile-de-France Swimming Committee (CIF) and the Paris Swimming Committee (CD75).

Over 200 swimmers are registered for this masters competition, with rankings by age groups.

This competition is open to all, regardless of ability! Registrations are closed.

Transports

Please find attached the map to access to the base of Vaires-sur-Marne. From Paris, go to Gare de l’Est to take the line P and get off Vaires-Torcy station. Then from Vaires-Torcy station you can take the bus 421 or walking to the base (20 minutes).

Founded in 1990, PARIS AQUATIQUE is a masters swimming club.

PARIS AQUATIQUE is a member of the French Aquatics Sports Federation (FFN). With more than 400 members, it is one of the largest Masters Swimming Clubs in the world. One of our founding principles is to fight against discrimination in any form, be it sexual orientation, gender, ethnic origin, physical disabilities, political affiliation or religious beliefs.

PARIS AQUATIQUE offers training for adults over 18 in swimming, synchronized swimming, diving, open water swimming and water polo. We also propose a high standard of quality swimming training for triathlon competitors in cooperation with 3 other Parisian LGBT clubs: the Dérailleurs for cycling and the Paris Front Runners and the Athletic Coeur de Fond for running.

PARIS AQUATIQUE has previously hosted the IGLA 2000 and 2007 Championships with nearly 900 participants in each edition, the 2014 French Masters Swimming Championships with nearly 2.400 swimmers, the 2015 and 2016 French Masters Diving Championships, the 2016 French Masters Synchronized Swimming Championships and every year since 2004, the International Tournament of Paris.
