Paris 2018 Press Conference – Gay Games 10 was a success!

On October 2, Paris 2018 held a press conference to mark D-300 before the start of Paris 2018 – Gay Games 10. Lilian Thuram, Ryadh Sallem, Maguy Nestoret-Ontanon, Patrick Karam, Anne Hidalgo, Marlene Schiappa and Laura Flessel have once again demonstrated their support for next year’s Celebration of Diversity !

Within 1 week after this conference, 53 media actions were recorded from many organizations, including France 3, France Info, L'Equipe, Le Parisien, to name a few!

For Paris 2018, each of its partners is an ally in the planning of Gay Games 10, and we are immensely proud to announce our newest partner.

The President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, has named Paris 2018 as one of his High Patronage initiatives. The Gay Games are now part of the President's official agenda. We look forward to seeing you!

Gay Games in California

 

Manuel Picaud, Co-President of Paris 2018, recently toured California, where the Gay Games began 35 years ago.

Events included receptions at the French Consulates in Los Angeles and San Francisco and presentations in Palm Spring and San Francisco. Californians will once again form one of the largest delegations to the Gay Games in Paris.

Paris 2018 Charity Gala to support Outreach Scholarship Program

On October 30, just after announcing of the 2022 Host City, a  Charity Gala Dinner will be held to raise funds for scholarships that will be awarded to many deserving candidates hoping to attend Paris 2018 – Gay Games 10: people discriminated against in their country, refugees, young people…
